Harrogate Town 0-1 Corby Town
Netan Sansara's first goal for Corby Town sealed a fine away-day success at Harrogate Town.
Sansara scored with his first touch on 72 minutes just seconds after being introduced as a substitute.
The victory marked a welcome return to form for the Steelmen as they responded to their 6-1 home defeat to Eastwood Town in perfect style.
Liam Ruddick and Andy White were both handed starts as Nathan Jarman missed out through injury.
Harrogate made the brighter start but Corby carved out the best early chance when Phil Gulliver almost marked his 100th appearance for the club with a goal as his volley curled just wide of the post.
But disaster struck for the Steelmen on 23 minutes when Steve Towers played in White on the left of the area. White's shot went across the face of goal but he was caught by Adam Nowakowski.
The Corby player stayed down and, after a few minutes of treatment, was stretchered off with a nasty looking injury.
White's replacement, Glenn Walker, should have done better than slice wide of the mark soon after while the hosts' best chance fell to Richard Pell whose downward header bounced up and over the crossbar.
However, Steve Diggin really should have opened the scoring before the break when he beat one defender but scooped his shot over.
The hosts went close early in the second period when Chris Mackenzie pushed away substitute Andy Hutchinson's long-range effort and Lee Ellington's rebound was deflected wide.
Webster completely missed Hall's cross at the other end but Harrogate looked threatening and Mackenzie saved Wayne Phillips' near-post strike before Dominic Roma fired just wide.
However, it was the Steelmen who broke the deadlock when Sansara's first touch saw him drive the ball into the bottom corner after good work from Towers.
Mackenzie had an escape when he fouled Graeme Armstrong on the edge of the area and the resulting free-kick was blocked.
Webster so nearly double Corby's lead as his header brilliantly saved by Mark Cook but it didn't matter as the Steelmen held on for victory.
