The Media Spotlight Is On The Steelmen

It is the First Round Proper of The FA Cup sponsored by E.ON tomorrow, and all week the media spotlight has been firmly placed on the non-league sides looking to cause an upset in the worlds oldest cup competition. The national and local media have decended upon the smaller teams, including Corby Town in order to capture the match build-up.

This evening's ITV Anglia News included a feature on Corby, including the views of manager Graham Drury. This can be seen here.

The ITV cameras will also be at the match, with highlights and goals from each of the First Round matches being screened at 11.40pm on Saturday evening (ITV1).

The local media outlets have been showing an increased interest in the club too, including Corby Radio and BBC Radio Northampton. Corby Radio's website feature "Corby Cast" features an in depth discussion between Sport 693 presenter Stuart McNeill and Steelmen reporter Pat McMahon. You can listen to this here.
