Cogenhoe United 2-1 Corby Town

Corby Town manager Graham Drury took the chance to field a second string team, as he monitored the progress of his squad players in the Northants Hillier Cup match at Cogenhoe United.

Corby, the current Hillier Cup champions, fell behind in the first half, before veteran defender Dean West pulled them level. This could not save the visitors however, as Cogenhoe secured a fine win with a late goal.

So the chance to win back-to-back county cup's is over for The Steelmen, who will now look to return to winning ways at home to Luton Town in The FA Cup on Saturday.
