Corby Town v Nuneaton Town

The Steelmen look set to finally return to Blue Square Bet North action for the first time since mid November's victory over Workington, as Nuneaton Town make the trip to The Rockingham Triangle on New Years Day.

The cold snap has seen six successive matches called off for Graham Drury's men, who will be eager to get their play-off push back on track in 2011.

Nuneaton Town currently occupy the final playoff place, sitting 12 points above their Northamptonshire opponents having played one game more, meaning this is a must win fixture for Corby Town.

Nathan Jarman will finally begin his three match ban following an altercation away at Luton Town in the FA Cup Second Round Replay in November, meaning strikers Steve Diggin, Adam Webster and Michael Frew are all competing for a place up from with leading marksman Ben Mackey.

New signing Netan Sensara will also go straight into the squad having joined from AFC Telford United and is widely expected to make his debut at The Rockingham Triangle Stadium.

The two sides were due to meet on Boxing Day, however the pitch at Liberty Way failed a pitch inspection on Christmas Eve following terrible snow across the Midlands.

Nuneaton's last match was a magnificent 5-0 victory away at Redditch United, and they will be looking to carry that on into this match.
