Sansara Is A Steelman

Corby Town FC have completed the signing of 21 year old left back Netan Niko Sansara from AFC Telford United.

With Asa Charlton due for an operation and Liam Green having left the club by mutual consent it left manager Graham Drury short of a left back.

Sansara, who is rated as one of the hottest Asian prospects in English football, has represented England at Under 18 and Under 19 level, earning three caps.

Having come through the youth ranks at Walsall, Sansara signed his first professional contract at the age of 17. He went on to make 27 first team appearances during his time with The Saddlers .

At the start of the 2009/10 season Sansara was handed the squad number 3 by manager Chris Hutchings . However during a pre season friendly against Wolverhampton Wanderers Sansara's progress was halted due to a ankle ligament injury sustained in a tackle with Greg Halford.

Netan made a return to action for his first start away at Colchester United in October 2009 then went on to make another 19 apperances during the 2009/2010 season.

Having started the current campaign with Dundee in the Irn Bru Scottish Division One, he moved on to AFC Telford before arriving at The Rockingham Triangle.

Drury said, "I am delighted Sansara has decided to join us. I have seen him play and was most impressed. As soon as I knew I had the left back problem I thought of him. He is 21 years of age and has had good first team experience. All recent reports on him have been more than favourable and I am confident we have signed a very good player
